Every baby needs shea butter. Shea butter comes from the kernel of fruits of trees that grow wild in the savannah. No herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers are used. And in the case of shea butter from our suppliers, no chemicals are used in the extraction or cleaning process either. The healing and soothing properties of Emu oil, beeswax and essential oils of chamomile & lavender have been proven over years of use and have also been proven to be safe for babies soft, delicate skin. The benefits of aromatherapy to calm and soothe your baby are well documented. Webmd has released a study regarding allergens in common children's skin care products - something we've been preaching for a long time. Read your ingredients! Most of the baby products on the market today are based in mineral oil - a known carcinogen with no properties about it that are helpful or healing. Our products are pure, clean and we don't use any fragrances in our baby products other than 100% essential oils for their therapeutic value - which is great. Smaller bodies equal smaller tolerance. Most products being sold and targeted for babies can actually be toxic. Vaseline and most baby oils and lotions are not suitable for human use, let alone for precious babies. Shea butter used daily has been shown to keep skin soft, help prevent cradle cap, chapping and diaper rash. Shea butter also provides a delightful baby massage.
