DESCRIPTION:
The perfect synergy of skin-soothing, non-sticky, light lemon scented outdoor spray and DEET-free as well! We have changed to an 8 oz spray bottle with a bigger nozzle for the pet spray. Also now available in an 8 oz powder.

INGREDIENTS:

We no long offer the water-based spray for pets but do offer an aloe vera/witch hazel base, blended with vegetable glycerin and a proprietary power blend of pure natural plant oils which contribute to the light lemon scent including the aromatherapy grade essential oils of with a proprietary power blend of pure plant oils & botanicals which contribute to the light lemon scent, including a blend of pure essential oils of Lemongrass, Texas Cedarwood, Citronella, Geranium, Catnip, Lemon Eucalyptus, Palmarosa, Basil, Patchouli, Litsea cubeba, Tea Tree, Bulgarian lavender and Peppermint. Please note we use a lower dilution of essential oils in our pet spray.

SAFETY/USAGE:

We provide this option for your pets in an easy to spray bottle for larger dogs from 30 pounds and higher. If you have a smaller dog, we suggest you use the regular 8 oz spray and spray it into your hand and then pat down your puppy (we call all of our dogs puppies, but you know what I mean.) You will enjoy the light lemon scent, but please do not spray directly into or close to your animal's face, eyes or nose. Dogs and horses both have long noses, which means they have more olfactory bulbs than we do and are sensitive to aromatic molecules - such as essential oils. I spray our two dogs (both 50+ pounds) liberally throughout their body area and around their necks - especially under their collar. Fleas usually come up to the collar on their way to the eyes to drink. I spray my hand and pat down the facial and ear area of the dogs. Abby, the Golden Retriever, will go rub her nose in the grass a minute but Brit, the Brittany Spaniel, seems to enjoy the spray down. I think he knows it keeps the pests off of him. I think they both just enjoy the rubbing that goes with it. On small dogs, do a skin test first by spraying a small amount on the belly where there is less hair and leave overnight. If there is no adverse reaction such as a rash or red area, then apply by spraying your own hand and patting down the dog. The bottle will provide an easy-to-use spray that can be applied easily over the entire body. This product also provides a good deodorizing scent to your pets.

DO NOT USE ON CATS!! Cats cannot metabolize essential oils and you may not see the damage, but the possibility of organ damage is high - according to most references I've read.
