 Essential oils for sinus congestion?

"Charron (1997) carried out an exploratory study of 40 patients with bronchial and sinus congestion. Patients inhaled two drops of Spike Lavender (Lavendula latifolia), floating in a bowl of hot water. All patients cleared their mucus immediately with results lasting from 20 minutes to two hours.
