DESCRIPTION:
Another great facial bar with true Patchouli and Cedarwood essential oils well known for their benefits for skin, and organic green tea, all of which are extremely beneficial and skin-healthy ingredients. We use the real stuff – real patchouli essential oil and we don’t skimp. Cedarwood, Patchouli, and green tea are all well-known to be very beneficial for maturing skin, sensitive and/or chapped skin, in particular, but this is a great bar of soap for any skin type. Add this with the 30% organic shea butter and organic coconut and olive oils, it really can’t be beat. Oh – and it really, really smells good! Beginning with a batch made August 2010 - we added the Cedarwood after receiving the suggestion from a customer. We were bemoaning the fact that we didn't think we could keep making Patchouli soap because the cost of real Patchouli essential oil was just too high to justify the cost - unless we raised the price drastically. The customer suggested adding Cedarwood - I'm thinking duh! Why didn't I think of that? Well, we did add it and it makes a beautiful combination. We don't use the endangered Cedarwood, ours is Texas Cedarwood and has a bolder fragrance, softened nicely with the Patchouli. Texas cedarwood is distilled from the oil-rich heartwood and has properties similar to other cedarwoods and also sandalwood but at a price that makes it affordable for use in soap.

INGREDIENTS:
Certified organic shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii), saponified oils of certified organic coconut oil (Cocos nucifera), certified organic extra virgin olive oil, Dark patchouli (Pogostemon cablin) essential oil, Texas Cedarwood (Juniperus mexicana) essential oil, certified organic green Tea powder.

USAGE:
As with all of our soaps, this is a very nice, luxurious, long-lasting soap with many skin-healthy benefits. It will keep much longer if placed in a soap dish that drains.
