Our philosophy is simple – maximize health through natural products in order to maximize life experiences.

The better our health and the health of our families, the more joy we can share. Our journey began with the desire to improve our own health by using natural products, and our business began when we felt drawn to invite others to share in the benefits of what we had developed.

Our philosophy leads us again and again to what is organic and natural – even when that is not easy. We have now changed all of our formulas over to paraben-free formulas. This was a lengthy process that took many months to accomplish, but we never doubted it was worth the effort.

Our products are made in small, controlled batches using sterile technique that has been a part of Ann’s internal wiring ever since she was an operating room nurse.

Our infusions are DARK concentrated infusions from true organic herbal flowers of  jasmine green tea, rooibos tea, and Gingko biloba which provides an immense amount of nutritive, nurturing and healing properties to our creams. We will at times use hydrosols (organic when available) obtained through the steam distillation of essential oils that are said to retain some of the same properties as the essential oil itself, again adding nutritional benefit to the skin.

Our philosophy is about health and healing and not about our profit margins. We can afford to use the highest quality ingredients, take extra time in our formulations, and take care in making our products because we don’t have a Board of Directors and investors demanding that we compromise quality and integrity in order to provide someone else a lot of money. We don’t plan to be – nor do we want to become – BIG. Our goal is to maintain our standards while offering these quality products at reasonable prices that everyone can afford.

Our ingredients include the very best in skin care including Certified organic extra virgin olive oil infused with certified organic botanicals of calendula, comfrey, chamomile and helichrysum, Certified organic Argan oil, Certified organic pumpkin seed oil, Certified Organic Pomegranate Extract and Oil, Certified organic Acai extract, Certified organic Red Raspberry oil, Certified organic avocado oil, Certified organic evening primrose oil, Certified organic jojoba oil, Certified organic shea butter, DMAE,  Squalane, MSM and other proven ingredients. We use a large percentage of certified organic botanicals of green tea, green rooibos tea and gingko in our water phase rather than just plain water. Take a look at our products and you will notice the nutritive butters such as Organic Shea Butter, not thrown in at the bottom in small amounts. We use these butters in substantial quantities and this is why our creams are so naturally thick they can’t be poured from a bottle. This also means they absorb quickly and make a noticeable difference in the condition of your skin.

We blend in clinical grade pure essential oils proven over the centuries for their naturally anti-aging and cell-regenerating properties. We target specific pure essential oils for specific skin types.We are probably more concerned than the average person about the ubiquitous chemicals, pesticides and herbicides that are so prevalent in your food and your personal care products. You can change your exposure one product at a time, one day at a time.

Because we know that essential oils are concentrated oils from the original plant, we can assume that any pesticides or herbicides will be equally concentrated. This is why we are so adamant about using either organic essential oils when available or wild-crafted oils that have been tested to be free of pesticides and chemicals residues if not certified organic. Our oils are not the mass-produced oils for the food and fragrance (and large company products) industry. Each of our oils is carefully sourced and quality controlled tested to assure they are of a true therapeutic quality by a Certified Aromatherapist.

This is also why we insist on using certified organic vegetable oils and butters to make our products, although doing so definitely costs more. A recent (Jan 2011) research article showed that 100% - YES 100% of pregnant mothers tested showed evidence of having all of the toxins now banned in the USA.
