Please note we also carry a STEAM DISTILLED lime essential oil - here. When steam distilled as opposed to cold-pressed, the properties and essence are different. The steam distilled smells more like a lime lollipop but has it's own significant beneficial properties, while the cold-pressed smells exactly like a fresh squeezed lime.

SAFETY:
Strongly phototoxic essential oil. Please use caution and look online for some very scary pictures of what happens if you don't. I'm not going to go into here because I'm working on a much more indepth blog post which will detail the issue of phototoxic essential oils. I'm also not going to repeat again DO NOT USE this in your water. I know it's a temptation, surely I do. Citrus essential oils are degreasers. I don't think you want your esophagus degreased, or your stomach, or your intestinal tract. There are definitely ways to use this essential oil in culinary applications when diluted properly.
