DESCRIPTION:

We originally made this soap using the essential oil of West Indies Bay Rum. I am not able to find that available and have been looking for the past few years. We finally decided to sample Bay Rum fragrance oils and finally found one that is as close to the real thing as possible, so we've added this soap back into our product line, as well as the other Bay Rum products in our mens's line. This is a classic for mens' soaps with the added warmth of allspice, true bay rum fragrance and other essential oils. Very good for shaving soap as well as the organic botanical powders and essential oils are very therapeutic for any skin type. I’ve heard that women really find this to be one of their favorites for their men to use. Mix and match with our naturally scented cream, aftershave and powder.

INGREDIENTS:

Saponified oils of Certified organic coconut oil (Cocos nucifera), Certified organic shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii), Certified organic extra virgin olive oil (Olea europaea), Essential oils of  Allspice (Pimenta officinalis) oil, Texas Cedarwood, Dark Patchouli, organic Sweet Orange, blended with a phthalate-free fragrance of West Indies Bay Rum, Certified organic Turmeric (Curcuma longa) root powder, Certified organic Allspice (Pimenta dioica) powder.

This is such a good soap for multiple reasons - the fragrance is a natural warm and comforting scent, the ingredients are all particularly good for all skin types and very moisturizing. This is, as are all of our soaps, handcrafted in small batches in the classic cold-process method, which means the bar will last a long time, but will last even longer if you place it in a good drainage-type dish after each use.
