No, No, No!!! It really can't be the end of August!! Where did the summer go?! I love summer and am seriously upset that this is the end of August. Ok - end of rant - and we WILL be at the Old Cheney Road Farmer's Market tomorrow morning. This market has been voted for at least the past 2 years (maybe more) as the NUMBER ONE farmer's market in the State of Nebraska. I'm thinking pretty impressive, but I know why each Sunday as we sit and talk to our customers and the awesome vendors around us. Come see us - we will be there come rain or shine (hoping shine of course and a night breeze) - 10 am to 2 pm.

Old Cheney Road Farmer's Market - Sunday, August 19, 2012

So very thankful for the cooler temperatures these past two weeks. We've done so much needed work in our yard and garden. Hard work, tired and weary bones, but loved every minute of it. That's what I have to think of as I watch what the farmer's bring to the market every week. How do they do that? And how do they do it when temperatures are in the double digits! We have the very BEST vendors at this market with so many different things to offer. Hey! We have good stuff too. Come try out our creams and get a free sample of soap. Our new soap just off the curing tray and ready for you to take home is our Coconut Pineapple. Will be getting it on the website soon. We used to make this and my daughter (with eczema) told us how it helped her when nothing else did. I just had to think it was the added benefit of raw organic grated coconut. I'm not sure why we stopped making it, but we've had a lot of requests lately for it - so here it is.

We're back! At the Old Cheney Road Farmers' Market!

UPDATE:  We are not going to be at the market this Sunday, April 29th. WE WILL be back next week for sure. This time we're back for the entire season - no more having to wait and find out if they have room for us. We are very, very excited about that! That market (so they tell me - I haven't seen the final map yet) will be expanded with more vendors and more activities. Can't wait to see everyone and very much appreciate our loyal customers who have come by to pick up orders at the house, have taken advantage of our free shipping over $50.00 and have been loyal to us all winter. We'll be bringing some new "stuff" to try out and see how you like it and as always - lots of samples to give you to try.
