It’s been a tradition in our family to have a version of Wassail for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The base is just plain old apple cider that is then simmered with fresh cranberries, oranges, cinnamon sticks, clove buds and brown sugar. This soap smells just like our house smells when this is on the stove. Not “true” aromatherapy in the sense that it contains both a fragrance oil and essential oils, but aromatherapy in the sense that it brings back memories of home, hearth, loved ones, friends and family. This year I think we’ll add cardamon. Send your recipes to us – we’ll publish them in our newsletters! To check out raw pictures of these soaps as they were made take a look at our Facebook page – while you’re there, we’d love for you to sign up as a fan!
